Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information KloqSimply collects on our pre-launch waitlist site, how we use it, and your rights over it. This is a pre-launch site — we are not yet offering a product or processing customer or client data.
Last updated: April 28, 2026 · Effective: April 28, 2026
Who we are
KloqSimply (referred to as "we," "our," or "us") operates this website at kloqsimply.com. You can reach us at support@kloqsimply.com for general inquiries, or privacy@kloqsimply.com for data-related requests.
What we collect
On this pre-launch site, the only information we intentionally collect is what you choose to provide through the waitlist form:
- Email address — required, so we can contact you when KloqSimply launches.
- Business type — optional, used to understand who is interested.
- Message or question — optional free-text you submit.
Our hosting and form providers automatically log standard technical information (IP address, browser user agent, referrer, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. We do not use this data for advertising or tracking across sites.
How we use your information
- To notify you when KloqSimply launches or when there is significant news about the product.
- To understand demand across business categories and prioritize our launch roadmap.
- To respond directly if you asked a question in the message field.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers.
Third parties that process your data
We use the following services. Each has its own privacy policy which governs the data they process on our behalf:
- Formspree — handles form submissions and stores them for us to retrieve. Formspree is operated from the United States; if you submit the form from outside the US, your submission will be transferred to and processed there. By submitting the form you consent to that transfer.
- Cloudflare — hosts the website, provides security/CDN services, and supplies aggregated, cookieless Web Analytics (see the Cookies and local storage section below).
- Twilio — delivers SMS messages on our behalf (appointment reminders, booking confirmations, account verification codes). Your phone number is shared with Twilio solely for message delivery. Twilio is operated from the United States.
- Bunny Fonts — serves the web fonts used on this site. Bunny Fonts is operated by BunnyWay d.o.o. in the EU (Slovenia) and is designed to be GDPR-compliant: it does not log IP addresses in a way that identifies visitors, does not use cookies, and does not profile users. We switched to Bunny Fonts to avoid sending visitor IPs to Google (which was previously serving our fonts).
Cookies and local storage
We store your dark/light theme preference in your browser's localStorage under the key kloqsimply-theme. This is not a cookie and is not transmitted to our servers. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregated page-view statistics — the beacon does not set cookies, does not use browser fingerprinting, and does not track individual visitors across sites. Cloudflare collects the page URL, referrer, and a limited amount of non-identifying browser metadata (browser name, device type, country) which we use to understand which marketing pages are resonating. You can verify the cookieless nature by inspecting your browser's storage while on this site.
The Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon is served from Cloudflare's global network; the request itself — including your IP address — is handled by Cloudflare's infrastructure, which is primarily US-based. Cloudflare uses the IP only transiently to serve the beacon and to compute the non-identifying country-level metadata above; it is not stored alongside the aggregated analytics. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for the full processing detail.
SMS / Text messaging
When you create an account or complete a booking on KloqSimply, you may provide a mobile phone number. By providing that number and checking the SMS consent checkbox at sign-up or during booking, you agree to receive transactional text messages from KloqSimply, including:
- Appointment reminders and booking confirmations
- Cancellation and reschedule notices
- Account verification codes (2FA/OTP)
- Service updates directly related to your bookings
Message frequency varies based on your booking activity. Message and data rates may apply.
To opt out of SMS messages at any time, reply STOP to any message we send. You will receive one final confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. To re-subscribe, reply START. For help, reply HELP or email support@kloqsimply.com.
We do not use your phone number for advertising or share it with third-party marketers. SMS messages are delivered via Twilio (see Third parties above).
Data retention
We retain waitlist submissions until the earlier of (a) 90 days after KloqSimply publicly launches, or (b) your request to be removed. If you become a KloqSimply customer during that window, the product privacy policy that replaces this one will govern how we retain your account data going forward; if you do not, we delete your waitlist submission within the 90-day period. Cloudflare security logs (IP, user agent, request metadata) are retained by Cloudflare for up to 30 days per their policy. If you ask us to delete your information before the retention period ends (see below), we will do so promptly.
Legal basis for processing (EU/UK visitors)
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases to process your personal data:
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) — for storing the email address, business type, and message you submit through the waitlist form, and for emailing you about the launch. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting privacy@kloqsimply.com.
- Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) — for the limited technical logging our hosting and form providers do (IP address, user agent, timestamp) to prevent abuse and keep the site online. We have assessed that this is proportionate and does not override your rights, since the data is not used for profiling or advertising.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (Europe), UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA (California), and similar frameworks. These typically include:
- The right to know what personal information we hold about you.
- The right to request correction or deletion of that information.
- The right to withdraw consent at any time.
- The right to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do neither).
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@kloqsimply.com from the address you used to sign up, and we will respond within 30 days.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar laws in other US states, consumers have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of their personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
KloqSimply does not sell your personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is nothing to opt out of — but we reserve this notice as the canonical place to exercise the right if our practices ever change.
If you would like written confirmation that none of your data has been sold or shared, email privacy@kloqsimply.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
KloqSimply is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy before launch and afterward. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. If changes are material, we will notify waitlist subscribers by email.
